Get ready to embark on a scenic navigation tour, as you enjoy close-up views of the South American sea lion in its habitat; along with caves rich in maritime fauna fossils.
South American sea lions are quite huge, with males reaching an approximate 9 feet (3 meters) in length, weighing up to 770 pounds (350 kilos). The males are distinguished by a lion-like mane. They are very territorial, especially during breeding season, when they fiercely fight each other to defend their territory and their females. As we observe them you might even hear the roar of the males, as they attempt to mark their territory. This is a great opportunity to take out our camera and take some memorable photos.
We will spend approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes navigating and exploring, before returning to port.
