Trekking and Rappelling at Quebrada del Salto Waterfall

  • The gorgeous panoramic views surrounding are sure to leave you breathless

The rugged wilderness of majestic Mendoza awaits you, as you go on this exciting trek through the canyon-filled landscapes of Quebrada (Ravine) del Salto, with the backdrop of the majestic snow-capped Andes Mountain range. We’ll then embrace our adventurous side, upon reaching beautiful Quebrada del Salto Waterfall, where you’ll not just enjoy a beautiful view, but have the opportunity to rappel down it!

Our trek starts off with an hour and a half hike along the Virgin Trail, where we’ll take in some gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Once we’ve reached - and marveled at - the pristine, 235 feet (72 meters) Quebrada del Salto Waterfall, we’ll have the chance to rappel down a rock wall next to it. Our expert guide will introduce us to the basic concepts of rappelling and safety, and we’ll be provided with the necessary equipment. After we’re securely strapped, comes time to feel the rush of adrenaline, as we head out over the huge, rocky walls!

After our adrenaline-infused rappelling experience, we’ll head back on a different hiking trail, to take in a different perspective of the natural beauty that surrounds us – and build memories as we fill up our cameras! Finally, we’ll return to our base to enjoy some lunch, and beautiful nature views in a restaurant ensconced in the banks of the Mendoza River.
