And if you’re lucky, you may even be able to spot guanacos (South American llama), Patagonian hares, and many different species of birds. Magellanic penguins are only found on the Falkland Islands and the coasts of Argentina and Chile.

Dazzling Swimmers: Navigating to Discover the Panda Dolphin

Prepare to embark on a navigation adventure in the Patagonian Sea to discover the beautiful black-and-white Panda Dolphin. Known for their playful behavior and their electrifying speed, this super cute dolphin is very rare to see, as it can only be found in just two spots on Earth: Patagonia or near a very remote island in the Indian Ocean.

The Panda Dolphin is very active, and it’s frequently seen swimming rapidly on the surface and leaping from the water while they surf the waves created by the fast-moving boats. As they love swimming close to the surface, it’s easy to see them very clearly. They love to surf on breaking waves when very close to the shore, and can do a variety of acrobatics including spins and twists.

This is a group tour done on the same day you do your Punta Tombo’s Magellanic Penguins tour.

Peninsula Valdes: a Unique Marine Fauna Heaven

Peninsula Valdes is one of the largest marine wildlife reserves in the entire world and a prime spot for viewing wildlife. It was designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO because of its global significance as a marine wildlife refuge for several threatened species.

The scenic Peninsula Valdes, where arid lands contrast with the blue crystalline sea, is home to an important breeding population of the endangered southern right whales (whales season is from June to early December), southern sea lions, orcas (also known as “killer whales”), Magellanic penguins (the penguins season is from mid-September to mid-April), and the largest continental colony of southern elephant seals in the entire world. National Geographic listed the Peninsula Valdes as one of the 10 best places in the world for whale watching.

This is a full day group tour.

Sea Giant: Close Encounter with the Southern Right Whale

National Geographic listed Peninsula Valdes as one of the 10 best places in the world for whale-watching. Prepare to embark on a whale-watching adventure to get up close and personal with one of the largest mammals on earth: the Southern Right Whale!

One of the world’s rarest species of whale, the Southern Right Whale, got its name because it was the “right” whale to hunt, since they are very easy to approach, they float when dead, yielding large volumes of oil.

These whales are one of the more interactive whales species with humans, and they are usually on the water surface, which makes for a great viewing experience. They are very safe to approach and are often rather curious about boats passing by. They are quite playful and can be seen exhibiting unique behaviors such as “sailing”, where they use their elevated tails to catch the wind, “lobtailing”, slapping it on the water, “headstanding,” where they rise in a vertical position with their head high above the air, and the most exciting, “breaching” where the whale jumps out of the water spinning and landing with a huge splash!

We will spend approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes navigating before returning to the port.

This is a group tour done on the same day as the Peninsula Valdes tour.

Experiencing the Unique Power of the Iguazu Falls from the Argentine Side (private tour)

“You might have seen the photos. Even read about it. You might have visited other great waterfalls before. But you probably still have no idea what to expect when you come face to face with the almighty Iguazu Falls,” stated CNN in their article “Iguazu Falls: Why this natural wonder should be on everyone’s bucket list". To put that in perspective, Iguazu Falls is nearly twice as tall as Niagara Falls and nearly three times as wide. Even the late U.S. First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt was reportedly so impressed by the sight of Iguazu Falls that she exclaimed “Poor Niagara!”

In 1984, Iguazu Falls became a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in 2011, it was selected as one of the 7 winners of the “New Seven Wonders of Nature” worldwide competition in which more than 100 million votes were cast.

Their size and scale are unlike any other waterfall on Earth. Made up of a system of 275 waterfalls, they have a staggering water flow of up to almost 3.5 million gallons (13 million liters) per second – enough to fill five Olympic swimming pools!

Unlike Niagara Falls, which is surrounded by developments such as casinos, a revolving restaurant, and coffee shops, Iguazu Falls are located within one of the few remaining inland rainforests in South America, the Atlantic rainforest, which is a haven for more than 2,000 plant species, about 400 birds species, and 80 types of mammals!

This is a full day private tour.

This is a 12 minutes group tour and is done on the same day you do the Argentinean side of the falls tour. This tour has an age restriction (click on tour name above for details).

Walking Among Exotic Birds in the Iguazu Rainforest

Located in the midst of the lush tropical rainforest, Foz Tropicana Bird Park is an internationally recognized rescue and preservation center for endangered birds, and it’s among the most important ones in South America. You’ll be side by side with a myriad of exotic birds in the three walk-in aviaries, where you’ll have the opportunity to have an up close and personal experience with amazingly colorful parrots and Toco Toucans, among many other birds that will be right next to you or even flying over your head!

Argentina is a very large country, the 8th largest in the world, in fact! As such, traveling by land is too time-consuming. How Our Booking Process Works

Once you’re ready to proceed with your trip booking, please access your trip booking form here and fill in the information we need to begin the process. We request a non-refundable down payment (generally USD 250) to process your trip booking, which we will credit towards your total trip payment.

The booking process generally takes from 2 to 3 business days. Once all services are booked, we will send you an invoice with the trip booking confirmation and payment instructions. If your trip start date is in fewer than 60 days, we’ll request a full trip payment. If not, we’ll request a first payment of 20% to 30% of the total trip cost, with final payment due 60 days before your trip start date.

Important: We take our guests’ credit card payments via PayPal, that’s running a promotion called "PayPal credit", where you’ll have up to 6 months to complete the payment of your trip (without any interest or extra fees). You can choose to apply during the payment process and your application will be subject to their approval. This is a great way to finance your trip payment, without any extra cost.

Our Trip Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your travel arrangements for any reason, you may be entitled to a partial refund. Most international plane tickets and most Latin American domestic plane tickets are non-refundable. Some airlines will offer credits for future tickets, with penalties.

For all payments which have already made at the time we receive written notice that you must cancel your trip, the following fees will be charged:

  • » When only the first payment (approximately 20% to 30% of the total payment depending on the trip) has been made: up to 80% cancellation fee over the first payment will apply, as most domestic flight tickets are non-refundable after being paid for and issued.
  • » When the total payment has been made and with more than 45 days to the trip start date: up to 40% cancellation fee over the total payment will apply.
  • » 36 to 45 days before the start date of the trip and after the total payment has been made: up to 60% cancellation fee over total payment is applicable.
  • » 20 to 35 days before the start date of the trip and after the total payment has been made: up to 90 % cancellation fee over total payment is applicable.
  • » Fewer than 20 days before departure, or after departure: there will be no right to refunds. However, we will try to get as much of a refund as is possible for you, according to the cancellation policies of the service suppliers.

We’ll always try our best to get as much of a refund as possible, depending on the trip cancellation date, and the conditions of the service suppliers.

Important note: certain hotels, boats, lodges and airlines may have deposit terms and cancellation policies which vary from our own. We may need to collect an additional deposit from you to hold some reservations. The cancellation penalties on payments will be determined by these individual organizations and will override our policy.

Refunds will only be issued to you once we have received the funds back from the supplier(s). Generally, flight tickets cannot be refunded if they are partially used. We are not responsible for a supplier’s failure to pay a refund.

If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your travel insurance policy, you may be able to claim these cancellation charges through your insurance company.
